Basil flowers

I have successfully taken a grafting from my dads safe basil plant and it had out out roots. It is growing so well it has started to flower. Can Russian tortoises eat the basil flowers. I am going I pot the basil today

Yes, it would be safe for your tortoise to eat, BUT I would be very surprised if your tortoise actually likes them. Most herbs (leaves, flowers, etc) are safe to eat, but their taste and smell usually puts off tortoises. Let us know if yours ends up liking it.
