Basking Rock

Is the best type of basking spot a slate rock or tile or something else? Going to the local vivarium store soon and was just wondering, because I know that I could also pick up just one tile from
Osh, Home Depot, lowes, etc...

I like to use large river rocks from my yard cuz they are free..

If I was going to purchase a basking rock, I'd buy a flat stepping stone from Home Depot.

Yes it helps a lot. I looked at Home Depot online and found some good ones. I refined my search to 6x6" slate tiles and this one looks good... Any thought anyone???

That one is fine. I'm sure you could find some for cheaper (closer to a buck) but even at $3-$4 when you are only buying one, that wont break the bank LOL
