Hi there, new to the site but i have had tortoises and turtles for my whole life.. I just got a four year old leopard tortoise from a friend of a friend and I notice her mouth and jaw seem not either developed right or a deficiency of some kind. It seems to hinder her a little as she eats I have read some threads on here about dremeling and I'm not sure about because I never heard of it.I wanna solve the problem and I hope it's curable.. Any help is appreciated thanks

Hi roscoepcole:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

What would you like us to call you?

and may we know appx. where in the world you are?

Would it be possible for you to show is some good clear pictures so we'd be better able to understand your problem?

In the mean time, you can cut up the tortoise's food into small, bite-sized pieces for easier eating.

Hello and welcome to the forum...

You can also feed on a piece of slate so that she can grind it down while she eats. I haven't had a issue like that but I'm sure someone who has will give you great advise..
