Black spot on my baby sulcata tortoises shell

My sulcata tortoise has a black spot on his shell that bothers me. I don’t know what it is and I am checking to see if he isnok

That looks like some type of bruising. I've never seen that before.

How long have you had it? Where did you get it? Do you know how it was started?

I got him from AZ sulcata and I’ve had him for 4 months,it started I’m pretty sure after a month or more.

Austin starts babies well, so my best guess is that it's a bruise from being dropped.

How do you drop him "a few times"? You didn't learn to be careful after the first time? Stop dropping your tortoise man. Its not good for them.

If you have to carry it from one place to another use something like his soaking dish. Has he dropped on his back?
