Blueberries

Hello, can i feed my hermann’s tortoise blueberries? Like one or two?

1 or 2 maybe...but as a regular thing? NO! Tortoises (except Redfoot) cannot eat fruit as their kidney can't processthe sugar like ours can...Don't feed him any fruit as a regular thing...he won't care about missing out on fruit

An another thing is that they might have a bacterial bloom in their gut caused by sugar since their gut biome isn't used to digesting sugar. If you have to give him blueberries, do it rarely and in small amounts. Most prefer not feeding any sugar since tortoises can get addicted on it

Best answer is no. Do not feed any fruit. They aren't wanting it, don't know they are missing it, they shouldn't have it, so don't feed it.

Yeah, if they never had it, they can't grave it. And the certainly don't need it.
