We’ve had our little Miriel for a couple weeks now. Have had to make several changes to the enclosure set up, because they insist on trying to climb. They wedged themself between the wall and the hide to climb on top, so we created wide ramps with the substrate to keep them from flipping. At first I just removed that hide because there were two others available. This led to them pouting in the corner till I returned the hide and added the terraforming. They are still trying to climb unclimbable stuff. Anyone else experience this? I didn’t expect such a bold little tortoise. I do love the little terror though. : )

Yep, that's what they like to do.
You need to make that a closed chamber enclosure with 80% humidity, no mercury or halogen bulbs, they are too intense and can cause pyramiding along with open top and low humidity.
It looks good, the closed chamber and humidity will keep him that way

Hello and welcome! Cute little baby🥰
I’m noticing what looks like one of those wooden tortoise houses? I’ll warn, that won’t last long with the humidity you need for a hatchling.
Perhaps you might find this thread I made helpful🙂🐢💚
