Thanks guys! I will try these ideas when I decide if I'm going to keep it. I have a new home for it tomorrow if I don't.

Box turtles generally don't do well inside. If at all possible - try to build this shelled friend an outside enclosure. Ornates are also the most difficult to keep. They don't mind cold temps - but they have to be kept dry when cold or they will get sick. They also like more protein than the other box turtles. Check out Tess Cook's site for good box turtle care. Looks like an ornate, you could put some leaf litter in the tank because they like to hide and burrow

She's with a new owner that keeps hers outside! I will tell her to put leaves in the area for her to burrow in. Thanks for the help guys.
