My kids dumped several bottles of bubble solution onto the grass (not purposely, but it spilled out of the container it was in).

It didn't occur to me that they were playing with the bubbles on the grass that Ralph grazes on. I've already hosed it down pretty well, but will the grass and clover be okay for him to eat now?

I'd keep him off of that area for a while. You can use a puppy pen for this.

Okay, thanks. I don't have a puppy pen, but I can move their castle/playhouse structure over it. How long do you think it should be off limits?

If you cover the spot it won't be able to wash away. If your yard gets sprinkled every day, I'd go a month or so. Then get a hose and see if you can make bubbles in that area. If not, you are probably okay. The idea is to get lots of water on that area to dilute it and wash it away.

BTW, there is no scientific bubbles study to back what I'm telling you, I just sayin' what I would do.

If this was a commercial bubble solution for kids to blow bubbles with, then it probably isn't toxic. However, the tortoise eating a concentration of it on his grass might make him have diarrhea.

I flooded it after I realized it. I didn't see anymore bubbles when I hosed it. I did it again this morning (after a light rain last night) and still didn't see any bubbles.

It's always better safe than sorry, even if there isn't scientific proof ;)

Oh, and the castle/play house is open at the bottom so water would be getting to the grass.
