Building a tort table

I have a approx 9-10 mo old red foot tort. Unknown sex (anyone know how to sex before they start to show the dip or not in their belly?). Currently kept indoors but I'm moving in 2 weeks to a place with a huge yard and will be building a pen. But I want to build a indoor tort table to keep it in while not outside. Most that I see are made of wood. What do u use to seal the wood so it doesn't mildew?

I know lots of people use outdoor deck polyurethane, Mike uses that spray on truck bed liner If I'm remembering correctly, lots of people use a plastic liner like a pond liner or shower curtain... all work for most, it's up to you to figure out what you think would work best for you
