Calcium carbonate

I was wondering when you guys feed your tortoises do you guys feed the calcium carbonate with or without D3? Just to give more info my tortoise is indoors and wont go out for sun maybe until summer time.

I give without vits, I have a good UVA/B lamp, and have a good diet... I usually use cuttlefish but can't find any at the moment, so I just throw the tablets down and they munch on them...
