Which brings me to my next Q...I want to bring him inside for the cold. Like in a 40B or a 75 G. Both 18" deep but the 40" I can carry around more easily.

Otherwise I want to build a very huge, biggest as possible enclosure. If I could happily home him in an aquarium for life I now would keep him in the aquarium, in an indoor setup. In a space I recently had a gerbil habitat setup.

Thanks a bunch guys.

Ty all again. One last thing recommend heat lamp and light for indoor?
Yeah, they need a basking temp of 90F, warm side 80-85F ish, cool side 75F ish, and no lower than 65F at night. UVB, UVA also needed. You can use a UVB strip bulb in combination with a UVA basking bulb, or use a mercury vapor bulb which produces UVB UVA and heat all in one handy dandy bulb. If night time temps get below 65F then you will need a ceramic heat emitter connected to a thermostat for night time.
