I am looking for a care guide to email some one..

I think we should have a place that provides care guides....

Its not that easy to find the info.. Then all newbies can be directed there.

My point must not be clear!

Every one has a care guide for there tort.

It would be nice if we had place on this site, to have them posted.

She wants one central place for all tortoise species is my guess. I guess all in Pdf. format so they can be downloaded easily.

Would be cool. But it has been brought up many times here and it just turns into an ego fest. I'd like to see them posted, then let those who have different views on specific parts be able to reply to the thread. That way the people reading can see the caresheet plus feedback from the community and make a more informed choice on the specific issue.

I bet your right, I would think every one could post there own guide, so that the person coming in, can read all the opinons and make up there own mind.

Example:

Russian Tortoise Care guide:
>>>>>>>>>>>>> Care guide from Joe Blow
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Comments
>>>>>>>>>>>>>Car guide from jame smith
>>>>>>>>>>>>> Comments

southern cal.
Then it would just become another..." All the info i read is conflicting!!" "some say this, some say that! I'm confused, help please!!"

All those care sheets are individual care guides but all species are different so the care is different. Suppose, for example, that you put a 150 watt Trex bulb on a Redfoot? They don't bask or want bright light. So each care guide or care sheet needs to be species specific and that's why we work so hard to write it that way...
