So I was soaking Carl today and he was acting kinda weird. He would stretch his neck out really far, then walk backwards while rubbing his butt on the bottom of his soaking tub... when he was done soaking, I noticed that there was a white stringy substance of what I assume was urates...

Do tortoises get itchy butts when they poop out urates? :p

He was just passing a urate and sometimes they do weird movements. I have no idea if they get itchy butts though. :D

I agree with Elliott. Also how deep was the water? Sometimes they'll stretch their heads and lean back if the water is too deep.

I doubt it's worms because he was wormed at the vet about a month ago. I don't think it was too deep, it only covered his plastron.

I noticed when my guys pee in their soaks, they look like they do it so forcefully, lol. It makes them kind of scrunch up.
