Carrot baths ? Russian Tort

Hi guys !
I was wondering if any of you could help me with understanding what benefits are of carrot baths ?
Can I give my tort carrot baths once in a while . I also want to mention that he’s currently shedding

The carrot soaks provide some nutrition for a non eating tort....it soaks in thru the soft skin under their neck and thru their cloaca...a healthy tortoise does not need carrot soaks

It's also used for eye issues along with what Maggie posted
No need to give it to a healthy tortoise.
