I asked this question in another members post about Gerber baby food, so apologies for repeating myself.

I've read a lot about carrot baby food soaks and thankfully not had to use it yet. I was just wondering - and sorry if it's a dumb question - if you blended fresh carrot to a pulp, maybe soaked it in water, strained it and used that juice in a soak would it have the same effect or is this not advisable?

Yes I suppose it is. I've not been able to find a jar of just carrot baby food in my local shops yet so was just curious about making my own if necessary. Thanks for reply Mike

Making your own is fine. Sweet potatoes are good too. Both are high in vitamin A which is what you are after.

Thanks tortdad, it's interesting and useful to know for future reference - I strive to keep Lola healthy so I hope it's not something I ever have to use, but maybe that's a little too optimistic.
