check out my enclosure ?

here are a couple pics

- the last one is tortoise view
- there is now a WAY more humid side for them.
- they trek all over the enclosure, and it looks like they are happy
- and yes, they do get time outside
-- and they are sleeping now like lil angels (in the log hide)

is this setup okay for 2 hatchlings? thanks guys i don't know you, but i still love you haha

looks good try to bury the water dish or put some mulch around it to make easier for them to get in

Nice set up for your Ibera. I would just recommend moving the basking light to the opposite end of the shelter so that they escape the heat during the day in the security of their shelter if they want to. It's a more natural approach-they come out of their shelters to bask in the sun and seek shelter when they want to cool off, sleep or hide.As long as your home is no cooler than 60-62 degrees at there is no need for supplemental nightime heat with this species. I'd also break the cuttlebone up into smaller pieces to make it easier for them to bite into. Keep them well hydrated and mist them often.

I'd say a hide on either side, and putting the light on one side not the middle.

Also, keep in mind it won't stay so pretty for long. Ha.

I think it's a great set up for them and I was going to ask about nighttime heat also...I just can't see babies getting cold...

I'm located in southern CA in the south bay area.. so it doesn't drop too bad indoors, its actually mostly above 65 degrees. and thank you for replying

is that why they haven't been drinking? i never catch them.. but once, i've seen Jem get in, then out without doing anything

the basking light is offically moved. and the tree actually funtions as a hide for them, they always bury themselves right under the branches to thermoregulate, and then, when the go in for the night, they go into the log hide.. i think its because its a little warmer ? i love in socal so the night heating isn't a problemo for me and i gave them a new cuttlebone, it was from the same pack, but they seem to like this new one soo much better. how small would you say?

I have the same dish when I first got my hatchling I was watching him trying to get in an go stuck all four leg were kicking like mad so put some mulch around it an now he goes in all the time
