I don't know if it's normal or not but one of my Sulcata hatchlings has little circle patterns on "her" scutes. I have had many other creatures over the years but I am new to torts. I would like to know if this is ok or not.

WOW! I think that is AWSOME!

will this pattern repeat as the shell grows or is it only original scutes?

My sully has those patterns sometimes.. even under his shell! It comes and goes.. I honestly don't know why it appears.

I have seen that many times, they seem to go away as growth advances.

Thanks for all the posts. I feel much better. I was afraid it was a sign of some nasty fungus or bacterial growth on "her" shell.
