When I have the ability to landscape my future home, I would like to keep my yard safe for my Red Foot tortoise, Tortuga. I am beginning the plan process and would like to have citronella planted, because it repels mosquito's. I have done research (and read a similar thread on TFO), but none specified if this plant is safe for my little girl to eat or not.
I would never plant something in my yard that is unsafe for my baby girl, so I just need some solid advice on whether this is something I should continue to plan on, or if I need to change my mind. I thought the long blades of grass would not only be good for added shade and hiding places, but grass fiber as well. Please, let me know if I am wrong, thank you!! :tort:
