Sorry if this question has been asked before...or if it's a dumb question :p but I was just curious...do you guys know those disinfectant sprays they usually have in the produce section at the grocery store? The ones that are used to spray on the veggies to destroy bacteria, etc? They may even come in drops where you put the veggies in a bowl and put a few drops in there for a little while to kill off all the bad stuff. Are those safe to use on a torts food? I usually just make sure to wash the greens really well, chop them up, and store that little salad in a container usually for a few days till the torts finish it. Since I noticed one of my torts had worms, I was thinking perhaps...I might have not washed the green as well as I thought?? I just wanted to know if it was safe using this product on their greens. Maybe it has chemicals that might affect the torts?

I seem to recall a news report awhile ago that said they did not work any better or worse than regular old washing, but I can't be 100% on that.

I use a Sunrider Fruit and Veggie rinse and it has been fine for my torts. I only use it on really dirty grocery store stuff. I also bath my Rat Terrier in it.
