i originally thought mordy was 5 months old this month (his owner told me he was 4 months old). he is about 3.5 inches long and eats heartily but the vet weighed him at 48 grams 3 weeks ago. im confused now, could mordy be even younger than 5 months? im beginning to think so reading some posts in this site of 6 month hatchlings being 90grams.

please post age and weight of your hatchlings please! i may buy a scale to weigh my little guy.

Don't base your torts growth on everyone else. They all grow different depending on care, feeding, etc... At 6 months, my youngest sulcata was 113 grams. As long as yours is healthy and growing then that is the most important thing.

They all grow different sizes at different rates under different conditions!
Just think the Parents could of have huge and had big offspring, or you could have got the runt out of the liter.
Just as long as he is active , eating, alert, and gaining weight here and there.

My sulcata was 2-3 months when i got him, he weighed 38 grams i believe, by the time he was 6 months he was 110-130 grams?
