Coconut coir????

Well I got the coconut coir yesterday and I thought I would get it ready outside so I did that, then I got Fred and put him in a box with the soil from his current enclosure and brought him outside then I put the coconut coir in his house and put him in the Box. Well he hates it. Anyways I thought the stuff I got was an okay one for now. Well when I was getting it ready outside it didn't seem like the other one I had gotten him when I first got him. It was really dry and it has a different smell. I will attach a screenshot of Fred and the new coconut coir

It doesn't look all that bad, other than the color being different and maybe the particle size/texture also. Hoqwever, you are probably best off just using the Eco Earth bricks by ZooMed. Your tortoise is already used to it, and tortoises do NOT like changes.
