Question: my. Wife thinks Cooper needs to have his nails cut, he is 8 month old sully, do you think at his age they need to be cut already? Thanks in advance!!

Depends on how long they are. Show us a pic. If you use a flat rock or piece of slate under your basking lamp, it will help wear them dow a bit. My substrate in my outdoor pens is pretty rough too and this also helps wear them down.
if he has a big enough area to walk in and does so.. he should be fine.. if they need a clip.. its not hard.
