I get these for free from job-sites. I use the long pipes and cut them in half, then lay them on the ground. Makes great hides. I really like them, since they are free, haha ;).

Yes. I also have a straight one cut in half and buried in another pen. I found these in construction rubble. They are IDEAL.

I always wondered if you could bury the pipe deep and use it for hibernating box turtles. I like this design thanks for sharing we have some pipe laying around.

My boxies don't hibernate here much, but I have pipes buried just like that in my boxie pens. Fill them with leaves and they make excellent hides.
