Can you see the cracks in Lea's shell? Any idea as to cause? Cures?

Per TigsMoms suggestion, I have been brushing Lea's shell, lightly with a soft toothbrush, in an effort to remove the glitter so it doesn't end up in her soaking/ drinking water. Today, I noticed what appear to be cracks on her shell. We have an appointment with a vet tomorrow, but I'm a bit freaked out. Not sure if they were there when she appeared last week. Thoughts?

It's just normal wear and tear and growth. Nothing to worry about.

Since she's a rescue, and goodness only knows what care, environment and diet she had previously, I'm with Yvonne it's normal and nothing to get overly concerned about. Looks like that glitter and paint are coming off. Glad the soft toothbrush and water are helping. Once she settles in on good diet and habitat, she should be terrific and you'll see her shell improve with time. Curious to hear what your vet has to say, keep us updated.

Thank you sooo mcuh. Glad to know it's normal. Was worried it happened one of the THREE times she flipped herself over today!
