This might be foolish... But I'm standing here looking at the remaining cranberries (fresh) from a cake I just made. I'm about to compost A LOT, so I thought maybe I could give one to Sam? I'm guessing it's a resounding "NO", but thought I'd see what the pros day first. Thanks!

Fresh? canned? sauce perhaps? As always if they are just the berries, a little won't hurt as a treat. So give him a few if you so desire.

Fruit is not good for them. While a little won't kill them, why give them something that isn't good?

  • Make some juice, add them to your smoothie in your nutribullet or vitamix, they freeze really well. I wouldnt toss them just because you have extra, but wouldnt feed them as a treat either.

Thanks everyone.... Good to know. Cranberries ended up so mushy they went to the compost.
