I have a white flowering currant bush that will grow into a tree and I want to plant it in the middle of Bob's pen. I will protect the tree from him while it is small and growing, but it's one of those that drops it's leaves so I want to know if the leaves are harmful, can Bob eat them? I have searched the Internet but of course, I found out that deer won't eat them and cows will eat them but nada about tortoises. It's so frustrating. Anyhow, before I go into a rant about the lack of information on all things chelonian can Bob eat the leaves from a white flowering currant???

I found a site that says its a food plant for the larvae of some lepidoptera species(Not sure, but I think that's butterflies), so maybe it would be ok. You can always rake them up as they fall if you're worried about it.
