Cuttlebone

I want to get better at giving Cirby cuttlebones but when I give her one she eats it right up. I would have to give one to her everyday and that's an expensive undertaking. Is this normal?

I saw a recipe here to make your own. Do they work well?

The tortoise will eventually get enough. Let it eat as much as it wants and also provide the UVB from either the sun or a good UVB light.

Have you tried the recipe I mentioned? It looks like a a good idea.
