Of course Gianfranco Zola!Dear Natrah - Gianfranco Zola was an Italian footballer, who is famous for his brilliance in the game, but also for his charming and endearing personality. He appeared on UK tv a lot in a programme about Italian football, which is how we first knew about him. He retired from playing, but has been a manager for different teams since. When Zola told us his name, it was quite possibly partly influenced by him, as well as by Emile Zola, the French writer, and by the Swahili word for quietness,(there is even a children's song in Swahili with the word repeated lots of times - it was sung to him once by a Swahili visitor who met him on his walk !
