Hi
If I grow dandelions inside an indoor EBT enclosure, will the boxie eat them all at once or graze occasionally when its hungry?
Thanks

most likely, eat them all at once.

anytime i grow anything new and let my tortoise have instant access to it, he eats it as little sprouts and its all gone before it can actually grow.

my advise is section it off until it grows pretty well then allow them to feed on it. there will be more to eat that way and it'll last longer before its devoured.

It's just gonna depend on his mood, how hungry he is, and whether or not he's in the mood for some dandelion greens.

It also depends on the size of enclosure you have, if you have lots of space the plants have a better chance of survival, but if it is cramped at all or where your boxie likes to walk or dig, just the traffic of him running over the area with do in your plants. Dandelions are not as hardy as you would think by where they grow.
