darker spot on my marginated's stomach?

Hello!

We have a 4 year old marginated tortoise (Atty), from what I can tell very healthy (and very spoiled). I've noticed a little dark spot on his stomach forming recently and wanted to see if anyone knows what it is or how I can fix it. I've read about shell molding but I don't think that is it?

Please let me know if anyone can help give us advice, we want to make sure he's okay!

Are you talking about the reddish area near your thumb? Other than that I see no concerns
May be rubing on something. Check out it's enclosure and any place else he roams or hides in.

Thank you for the reply! This little spot is my main concern, I honestly didn't even notice the red until you said it just now, do you think that is something of concern too?
