I don't know what to think here. Maybe this is an example of FEAR? If you don't know this acronym, look here, courtesy of @EppsDynasty

What do you think? Real or not?

I think pretty soon ppl will begin to have a real issue determining what’s real and what’s not real. Scary.

It's a scary piece of 💩.
But pretty soon, people will totally stop caring whether something is real or not.

I've come to realize that most, and I mean MOST of the videos one sees on social media is AI. Problem is, a lot of people believe this crap!
I know, but like @Renee_H said, it's getting very difficult to discern.

Like with this video...I suppose it's possible this could happen...but what's the likelyhood of it happening?

I really don't know. At least not well enough that I'd put money on it!

This is why AI needs to be regulated and controlled. Not only is this completely fake, its laughably fake. The whole scenario is absurd.

1. Tortoises aren't the kind of animal to infest another living thing. and cats of any sort would "groom" a parasite, like what's depicted, out of existence...lick like crazy, roll around on ground, submerge its body in water, come on, you can figure out more ways to get rid of a problem irritant.
2. The hole moves around the body location in this. Sometimes it on the spine and sometimes on the side.
3. Torts don't bring "hay" to their hides like a bird building a nest...plus, would the cat sit still to allow the tort to leave and come back? Get real.
4. A hole that size in living flesh would be oozing, gushing, puss and blood, and be infested with maggots.
5. A hole that deep and big on a spine would cripple/paralyze the cat.
5. A hole that size would have dragged the big cat down to skin and bones - all those cats are fat and healthy
6. First shot at :02 is male lion with a nice mane, second shot at :10 is a female, shot a :16 is on side of cat, shot at :23 has ragged dry edges.
7. Normal body temp of lions is 100.5F/38.05C to 102.5F/29.16C Add a fever into the scenario - would your tort be able to exist in that?

The truly sad part is there are people out there who won't know how stupid this video is.

LOVE IT ....
Some may remember this ... There was a photo almost 20 years ago of a Coast Guard Swimmer repelling out of a Helicopter and there was a Great White Shark breaching out of the water and is going after the swimmer. Photo Shop was what was the technology that made that 'Fake' photo and most people loved it ..... now a fake Turtle in a Lions back. I sincerely think that 'Fake' or 'Altered' info not just pictures will be how this great society falls, check your history books every great society has failed.
If you look deeper into the history the 1 factor that they all share is comfort of the society that leads to crazy policies, lifestyles that would have never worked when the society was starting out. Would this world be what it is now if the US civil war was flooded with fake photo's? Thinking about that look at some of the craziness a giant portion of society is OK with, and pushes, with AI or fake info being the driver of their thoughts.
But pretty soon, people will totally stop caring whether something is real or not.
We are already there, people listen to what they want to hear and have no critical thinking of what they see because they don't care. Then base the anger of their life and what they 'Stand' for on those fake pieces of info, "But hell I'm a social justice warrior so I'm doing the right thing."

Yeah. But Dana, it goes exactly In the other direction as well. The things many people were saying caused or increased the LA fires as an example were equally based on people believing what they want to believe based on whatever one side wanted to push because it furthers their agenda. No side is immune to that.

I say it's 100% unlikely!!! What animal in its right mind would just lay there while a turtle digs a hole in its back - and in the second place, a turtle's claws aren't strong enough to dig a hole through that animal's fur and skin.

The one that gets me is the "ingrown toenail" The video shows a terribly long toenail infested with maggots (but they used meal worms in the video) and someone is clipping away the long toenail with wire cutters. I watched the whole thing the first time it came up on my feed. You've got to wonder about the person that toe belongs to. How did they walk around on such a long toenail, and how were they able to sit still long enough for flies to lay eggs on the toenail. Some of them are just plain stupid, but lots of people watch them.

How'd that get into your algorithm? Is that what happens when you go down the farriers and infected hooves rabbit hole?

LOL!!!! I DO watch a lot of hoof trimming videos. It's interesting to compare those poor donkeys with overgrown hooves and compare how the Old Japanese guy whacks 'em off to the 'tender' way we do it here in the U.S.

I was kind of stoking the fire with that post. But it's interesting...it never occured to me that the turtle dug the hole! I assumed the hole was there and the turtle moved in, which is still unrealistic.

Not that it will make any difference, but I think it won't be long until it will be law that if AI produced a picture, it must be noted as such in the caption of that photo. And also if Photoshop was used extensively to alter the context of an image.
