In Mississippi today it is 84 with humidity at 56.we have a lot of cloud cover and all my torts are just laying around. not concerned with grazing at all today. I'm not worried but I was wondering if anyone has noticed if cloudy weather makes your torts lazy

My tortoises are the complete opposite! Days like today, all four of my tortoises are hanging out, grazing, enjoying the sporadic rain showers and peaks of sunshine during the day. Mine are probably happy for a "cooler" day than usual though.

Clouds make my DTs lazy for sure -- just like they do me. They're most active on clear, sunny days.

Mine prefer overcast over sunny and hot. They will come out more on overcast days
