Hey guys, I had a thread similar to this, but it it doesn't seem like his "creases" are going away. If anything they seem more pronounced.

The creases are where the shoulders and where the hips would be. Also something that has been worrying me is how flat his shell is.. maybe because it's my first tortoise, but shouldn't it be more domed?

I would appreciate some opinions. I have had him for a almost a year now and so he's about 1 year and three months. He has been getting tetrafauna reptocal basically every other day and at least 4 hours of natural sunlight on the weekends.

He is eating well though.. quadrupled his weight already :D

Do you feed any fresh greens or fruit? Snails/slugs from the garden?

The shell looks just fine. They often have odd little creases when they are little but they eventually smooth out as the shell expands.
Also, redfoots can sometimes appear rather flattened at that age but in the next year or so you will notice that it will become a little more domed.

He does look a little flat but nothing to worry about, may just be a natural look to him. I don't really see anything to worry about, he looks like he is being kept damp, and I don't see any pyramiding.
