Dog Injury :/

So while at work my parents dog got a hold of my tort. It's been awhile since it happened and other than being a little sluggish and a small injury on it's shell it seems alright. Anything I should look for?

My dad accidentally let him in the room my tortoise is in, trust me I know that tortoises look like chew toys to dogs. As far as infection I'll look out for signs. I'm cleaning the shell frequently to try to curb that risk. He/she seems to be returning to his/her normal activeness. So things are looking good.

Has anyone ever used Vetricyn on a tortoise?

Clean it, dry it, dab some honey on it, and keep it clean thereafter for a while. If no greater infection sets in, the wound should heal well and will eventually become imperceptible as the animal grows large.
