I like your watering hole. Is that a recirculating pump in there, or a continuous supply of water through the waterline? Looks like a great idea.

Good eye's Grandma......there is a pump in there , it acts as a water circulator as well as a sump pump . With a flick of a switch I can do a complete water change ( approx 20 gals) in a matter of minutes. Also by keeping the water circulating , it dosnt go stagnet and provides build up of Squit'o Larva......

Have you posted something on this water system before? If so, let me know and I will go look for it. I might be interested in doing something similar to this in the future. Does it work sorta like a toilet? Where does the dirty water go when you flick the switch? I've thought about a recirculating water system like a fountain, but don't know how to get rid of the dirty water. It could have an automatic flusher, but would scare the bejeebers out of the tortoise.
