Donatello,my sulcata will try to eat anything. But torty,my russian will only eat peAs and carrots. I figured out how to get torty to try new things... I would first give it to donatello, who would eat it right in front of torty. Then i would give torty the same thing... Torty now will eat hay, broccoli, and thanks to donatello, the sides of the couch...1371734004946.jpg

Are you comfortable housing these 2 different species together despite all the "no no" advise given here and the reasons why that is bad?

Is there more to the diet than peas, carrots, broccoli and hay?

Torty's beak looks a little overgrown. If you can, try feeding him on a flat stone to help wear this down. if it keeps growing, it can break off and will hurt Torty a lot. Don't want to see him in pain :(

My torts are housed in 2 different enclosures and they are getting fed more than that...those are just some of the new things torty is eating. I feed him different kinds of veggies and the grow-your-own reptile/ pet greens calcium- rich grass.
