I have property in Appalachia Mnts...we have EBT's ... absolutely beautiful...we have shallow pond with newts, frogs, allot of snakes...sadly the there are parts of the property needs some vegetation work...I want to to add more plants so these guys can thrive ... at the same time I am Fire Wising the property...getting rid of vegetation that isn't native...looking for suggestions on plants, mushrooms ... anything to make it a happier place for them....I am very lucky that majority neighbors are also pro nature .... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I don't know what naturally grows there. Maybe do a Google search of what naturally grows and then check their safety against this site I linked.
