Hi everyone,
I had a question relating to Nova my Sulcata having an extra scute on his/her back. It actually looks pretty cool to me so I have no problems with the irregularity but I had a question relating to Sex. I read on a few sites that the Extra Scute is most likely due to the eggs being incubated at too high of a temperature. Now I also read that some breeders "temperature sex" the eggs and Females are more likely with higher temps. I was just wondering from the experts if there is any truth to any of these claims, and if so, would my Sulcata have a higher probability of being Female if she has the extra scute due to being incubated at higher temps?
