Can it be the reaction for the bright sun light. She was kept in a dark room before today. Her eyes are really watery now. What the humidity? They need high humidity.
The eye looks fine to me.
Bubbles! Both of eyes have itHi! Are there bubbles or foam in the left corner of her eye on the photo? Does her other eye look the same?
I did! Surprisingly she enjoyed it!They can get bubbly eyes when it's too dry or too hot. Did you give Ivy a long warm soak already?
Well, redfoots generally like water - rains, soaks, drinking. 87F under bright direct sun can be too hot for her, make sure she has some deep shade to escape the heat. Muddy puddle under the bush or fallen log, for example.I did! Surprisingly she enjoyed it!
It feels like 87F outside now. And really bright.
I got an indoor enclosure yesterday and I will bring her inside for the night. It's getting cold here at night time.Well, redfoots generally like water - rains, soaks, drinking. 87F under bright direct sun can be too hot for her, make sure she has some deep shade to escape the heat. Have you set up an enclosure for her? She should stay at 82-84F at night with humidity in 80-90%. At least for the first few weeks.
Usual Jasmine is non-toxic.I got an indoor enclosure yesterday and I will bring her inside for the night. It's getting cold here at night time.
She is in a shade of jasmine bush now. I hope jasmine is not toxic for her. I don't see her digging. Jeeez, RTs and RFs are different...
Thank you!!!Usual Jasmine is non-toxic.
Redfoots don't dig much, but can make use of existing burrows. Mine loves to wedge herself under logs or bark flats.
