Falling on their shell

My tortoise is 2 years old but we have only just got him a couple of days ago.
He climbs on top of everything! In his tank thing but I'm worried he will fall on his shell
When I'm not here, what will happen or do I need to take what he climbs on away?

What species is your tort? Maybe you could post pictures of the enclosure so we have a better idea of sorts of hazards you could remove.
