Dark green leafy greens and weeds are best. Just be careful not to let him/her eat weeds that have been sprayed with fertilizer or insecticides.

Mine seems to go through phases. For awhile he was loving kale, right now it seems to be raddichio. Dandelion leaves (especially the part of the plant where all the leaves come together right down by the ground) is a constant favorite. He also comes running for snapdragon flowers (which he hasn't had since fall now... he prefers wild ones to cultivated garden types)

One of Steve's favorite treats are rose and hibiscus flowers. These are great on occasion.

Spike loves hibiscus and rose flowers also. I also witnessed him taking some big bites from the aloe plant. He wont touch the Zoomed grassland tortoise food or the national geographic tortoise entre.

I forgot how much mine loves radicchio!! ;D I should think so; mine loves cucumbers too!!
