feeding on tile

Hi i just wondering if it is ok to red foot torts on a tile like you get from home depot. My two trorts will not eat out of there bowl but they will eat off a flat board. Mine two have been eating off my little cutting board. So was wondering if any one uses tile?

Can you get a flat rock or a piece of slate the tile is glazed you want something rough to help trim his beak down as he eats

so as long as the tile is not glazed it is ok. Or i could just get a falt rock like landscapers use ok thanks.

I use tile for my hatchlings and marble stepping stones for the adults. Easy to clean!

Ceramic tile is usually only glazed on one side,you can put glazed side down and feed on the rough side,Len

Oh it will be fine to use I thought you wanted to keep his beak trimed but ya tile will clean nice
