I'm wondering how much and often is normal for a med sized Russian to eat? If we try to cut back our guy's food, he throws a bit of a tantrum. Since its too cold for him to go outside here (mn) any more, He's not getting as much exercise. And therefore I would expect his appetite to go down too? But it seems like he's expecting the same amount at the same daily rate. I don't want to over feed him, when he should just be chilln' out this winter and taking it easy.

If your guy is not slowing down then likely he will not....so I would continue his feeding business as usual...now, if you see him porking up--then perhaps make a cut back....:D
