well mimi my big female sulcata just laid her 3rd clutch like clockwork 1 month after her second. 33 eggs later shes seen here covering her nest. shhhhh she didnt notice me behind her catching them as she dropped them. dont tell her. haha

:) a few years ago she did slip some extra eggs "after" she covered her hole. It was kinda cool walking out into there pen seeing a couple little sulcatas walking around. But I'm pretty sure I did t miss any this time

yep this is true. usually after they lay clutches i barrier it off just in case and then keep and eye out. it is cool seeing wee ones hatch successfully in the ground though. it amazes me how they can push through the soil.
