Filters for outdoor sandbox enclosure

Hi guys, what would be the best filter to use in a step 2 sandbox enclosure?
This would house 1 diamondback terrapin.

How many gallons are you putting in there? What size turtle? Important stuff Depending on your turtle's size, not a very big one. I like Fluval, they have great filter, so why not try one of submersible canister filters? They work great, and the media is easy to find a relatively cheap.
