First time outside since 2012...

I decided it was nice and sunny enough today for Carl to take a little field trip outdoors for a half an hour or so. I set up an old cake pan with pretty high walls in the sunniest spot on our deck, and ran an extension cord out with a 75watt lamp attached to the cake pan.... made it all nice with a little food dish and some dirt to bury in......

Well you can guess what he's spent the last 20 minutes doing........

Little poophead, you'd think he's in a torture chamber with how determined he is to escape...

He hasn't been able to escape yet, but since he's gotten so close, I guess I will get MY 30 minutes of sunshine today, too.... little brat.
