Flaky skin

Hi, was looking for a little bit of information, I have a little horsefield tortoise got him in November. He currently has some minor flaky skin on his neck, it doesn't seem to be bothering him. The skin under it looks very healthy, it is not red or irritated looking. He had a check up at the vets (the vet is a reptile specialist) 3 weeks ago and she said he is growing fine and the skin is nothing to worry about. I was just wondering is there any way to help it along with flaking off? Or am I best to leave it to come away in its own time?
