flowering cabbage? safe?

is flowering cabbage safe to plant in my red foot enclosure? i know what ever i put in the tank they will munch on so i want to know if its safe..
thanks for the advice

any one?

I believe it is non toxic but cabbages are not a good idea for torts as they are starchy, plus they are brassicas. If its something you insist on feeding, it should be fed in only small amounts as part of a varied diet. Stick to weeds, greens, and good lettuces for the greens part of the diet.

i dont want to feed it i want to plant it in the tank they will live in.

If it's in the tank---they will eat it. Why put something in that MAY NOT be the best ---when there are other options that will work and provide a "not-a-problem" enviornment.

Lots of plants that are very healthy for them and make great hiding spots. Need us to suggest some? Make sure anything you plant is either organic (tough to find), grown from seeds, or has sat out of the enclosure for 3-6 months first to let the chemicals leech out.
