I work at a pet store where we got thi hingeback, knowing nothing about them, and now he is not eating. He ate a little last night, but thats all since I took him home about a week ago. He loves to go in his water dish and I soak him, he also walks around in the water and when I let him walk around the room he is active, but he won't touch his food no matter what he is offered. The pet store is letting me keep him, but I know there is nothing I can do for him and do not have the time, so if there is anyone nearby that can give him a good home that has experience and want him, I am willing to give him away just so he has a chance. He seem healthy otherwise, but I just dont know what else to do. attached is a picture I took when he was at the pet store. He is on bed-a-beast now with a large water dish. He had a hiding spot, but surpriingly will never go in it. He would rather be out in the open. I am in Ohio.
