After a month of looking for the owners with signs on poles and craigslist ads in 3 counties, the founders, my leopard tortoise babies' breeder's friend and my leopard tortoise babies breeder (phew), let me have him! I have FunkeeDeeTee. I took Will's word that he was a funky desert tortoise. I believe him to be Texas-CDT hybrid, with my un-expert eye. I have to go to the next level of tech know how and post pics of that plastron so all y'all can tell me if I am right.

I love his name (thanks again Will) but those flared scutes are cray cray. They almost fly. I thought about calling him Ziggy Stardust after David Bowie, circa 70's. LOL. But FunkeeDeeTee maybe with GeeBee stuck. I love ma Funkee! : )
